One Amazing Party - 2014 Idaho Mountain Festival

I know this post-event wrap-up article is long overdue. I guess Jennilyn and I decided to take an extended vacation after this one. Sorry about that.

We'd like to thank everyone--sponsors, attendees, athletes, staff, volunteers, park rangers, and the Almo community--for coming out and supporting the the 3rd annual Idaho Mountain Festival--Powered by Asana Climbing. Once again, we permitted for more people than last year and we sold out of passes one week before the event.

Even with the gnarly rain storms, we were able to pull off most of what we had planned. All of you were troopers for sticking it out and partying with us till the very end.

We were so blessed to have had Micah Ness of Silverline Films at the festival capturing the whole experience. He also produced this very awesome highlight video that does a great job of portraying the atmosphere and energy at the festival.

SOLD OUT!!

WE'VE SOLD OUT OF ALL OUR FESTIVAL PASSES. WE'VE GOT A FULL HOUSE AGAIN THIS YEAR.

NEW THIS YEAR: Guided Climbing Clinics w/ Idaho Mountain Guides

We are excited to announce that the Idaho Mountain Guides are offering a special rate to all festival attendees for the three paid-for Guided Climbing Clinics that they are doing on Friday (9/28) & Saturday (9/29) in the City of Rocks during the festival.

The Guided Climbing Clinics are intended for beginner climbers, those interested in refreshing skills, or those interested in meeting other climbers. The Guided Climbing Clinics teach basic skills of communication, belaying and safety techniques, all while climbing at the City of Rocks. Experience traditional & sport climbing on a secure top rope. Learn about setting protection as Certified Guides lead traditional and sport routes demonstrating safe & efficient techniques.
