The Idaho Mountain Festival is Back for its Second Year

Back for its second year, the Idaho Mountain Festival, powered by Asana, is scheduled for another four days of non-stop climbing, trail running, and partying. The official dates and locations are set for Sept 26-29, 2013 at Castle Rocks State Park and the City of Rocks. Complete details can be found at www.IdahoMountainFest.com.

The Idaho Mountain Festival takes advantage of two historical climbing destinations—Castle Rocks State Park and City of Rocks National Reserve—to rally up the outdoor enthusiasts from all over. With almost 200 people in attendance in 2012, people from as far as New Mexico, Illinois, Wisconsin, and even Germany came and enjoyed themselves last year.

Thanks to a collection of very generous sponsors, the second-annual Idaho Mountain Festival will be offering all-inclusive passes that include tent-camping, breakfasts and dinners, pro-athlete workshops, gear demos, trail races, many chances to win free swag, and much more.

Asana Climbing, the notorious bouldering company headquartered in Boise, ID, has dedicated itself as this year’s Presenting Sponsor. As a driving force behind the Idaho Mountain Festival, the whole Asana team will be at the festival to keep things alive and happening.

Companies such as Beal, La Sportiva, Singing Rock, and Cypher have also stepped up to support the festival as Exclusive Product-Line Sponsors. Be prepared to be pampered with stellar athlete workshops as well as with opportunities to tryout, and possibly score some of the best gear on the market.

Let’s not forget the best part of the Idaho Mountain Festival, the included breakfasts and dinners. With much anticipation, Solid Rock—Climbers For Christ and Grivel will be fronting the bill—and even manning the stoves—to provide some of the best home-cooked meals that any outdoor junkie has had on a trip.

A limited amount of 245 all-inclusive passes will go on sale at the beginning of March. Mark the calendar, save the date, and purchase a pass early before they sell out. Those that pre-purchase festival passes will have a chance at winning a pair of sunglasses from one of this year’s Attraction Sponsors, Smith Optics.
